Safety & Regulations
We Believe in Safety
It's essential for both employers and workers to be aware of these regulations and work together to create a safe and healthy construction environment. Employers should provide appropriate training and resources, while workers should actively participate in safety programs and report hazards or unsafe conditions.
PPE
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Mandate the use of appropriate PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility clothing for workers, and ensure that workers use them when required.
Training
Provide safety training and education for all construction workers to ensure they are aware of potential hazards and how to mitigate them.
Ladder Safety & SCAFFOLDS
Ladders should be inspected for defects, placed on stable surfaces, and used according to Cal/OSHA regulations.
Scaffolds shall be provided for all work that cannot be done safely by employees standing on permanent or solid construction at least 20 inches wide, except where such work can be safely done from ladders.
Fall
HAZard
Workers exposed to fall hazards, including those working at heights of six feet or more, must be protected with guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems.
